Creative Christmas: Gaming Goodies Under The Christmas Tree

QuestionYour help must have worked, because it’s now Christmas morning and presents are under the tree! There’s a fancy box with your name on it; which gaming-related item are you hoping is inside?

My Gaming Related Item

As an “adult” I find it increasingly difficult to ask for things, as I can generally get whatever I want myself without having to, you know, wait for it. I do have a limited expendable income, though, so certain things, while enticing, are far too frivolous to ever consider just going out and buying myself.

One such item is a VR system. No, I’m not talking about the ones you click your phone into. I’m talking HTC Vive or Oculus Rift, the kind of VR headsets that would make my GTX 1080 purr. I would even love a Playstation VR. I want to check out Skyrim VR; I’ve been on a bit of a Skyrim kick lately, and actually being able to walk around that world sounds incredible.

VR is such a cool, interesting thing that I want to be able to experience whenever I please, but the price point is just high enough that I can’t spend it without feeling a little bit guilty about not spending that much money on, you know, rent. That and the fact that the technology is still coming into its own mean that I simply can’t justify that purchase on my own.

If I were to be gifted VR? Hoo boy.

For the rest of Christmas day, my family members would have to physically pry me out of those virtual worlds. Of course, I would want my parents to try the VR, as well (this is all pretending I could get it set up on Christmas day and somehow get my parents to come over to my place. This is all fantasy, right?).

What would you want to receive under your Christmas tree? Would you come play VR games with me? Do you want to gift me a VR system? Let me know in the comments below!
